What Is a Family Center?
A Family Center is a welcoming place where families of all ages can come together to learn, connect, grow, and help lead. It is created with help from the community to support families and students.
Everyone is welcome at a Family Center. People from all cultures, backgrounds, and languages are valued, respected, and treated with kindness.
Family Centers are successful because schools, families, and community partners work together. When these partnerships are strong, students and families do better.
A Title I Family Center follows important family-school partnership goals by:

- Communicating clearly
- Supporting student success
- Speaking up for every child
- Sharing ideas and leadership
- Working with the community
What We Believe
We believe children are our future, and families are an important source of strength. Family Centers help students succeed in school and help build strong families and communities.
Our beliefs are:
- All families have hopes and dreams for their children and want them to succeed.
- All families can help support their child’s learning.
- Families are important partners in their child’s education.
- School staff and leaders have the responsibility to build and maintain strong partnerships between school, home, and the community.
