Stevens & Prospect Valley Compete in Paper Airplane Challenge

paper air plane competitionStevens Elementary and Prospect Valley Elementary were challenged by local realtor Guy Nahmiach to bring their best flight teams and compete in a paper airplane contest. A third mystery team turned out to be our very own SIET members Karen Quanbeck and Scott Allensworth. Any shape or form of a plane was acceptable as long as it was made out of a plain 8 1/2” x 11” sheet of paper. Decorated, folded, glitter or even a tribute to the X-wing fighter. Each team had five tries and the farthest landed distance was recorded. At the end of the day, it was Jason Hakim from Prospect Valley Elementary who took the honors.
