Athletics & Activities Testing Not Required, But Encouraged
The Jefferson County Public Health order JPH-PHO-21-002 (PHO) that required Jeffco Public Schools to implement weekly COVID testing for unvaccinated students who participate in extracurricular athletics and/or activities has expired as of December 22, 2021.
In response to this, we are no longer requiring weekly COVID testing for unvaccinated students who particpiate in extracurricular athletics and/or activities.
Although testing is no long required per the county-issued public health order, we strongly encourage all students to be regularly tested, especially unvaccinated individuals and those that have a known exposure.
Our testing program partner Mobile Health will still be at the locations below to administer testing for staff and students. These dates, times, and locations are subject to change. Please check this web page frequently or call your local school for more information.
Any asymptomatic staff and student may test weekly at any hub no matter their vaccination status.
