Your child's school attendance is important.
There has been some confusion regarding attendance, so here is a quick reminder of what counts as an excused absence or tardy. This can be found in your Student Handbook (the Red calendar) on the September and October calendar pages.
Excused Absence/Tardy:
Illness/Injury/Medical Procedure
Family emergency
Religious observation
Funeral
Legal obligations
Appointments or circumstances of a serious nature, only which cannot be taken care of outside of school hours.
Please note: Parents are required to call the school’s attendance line 303-982-0273 if a child will be tardy or absent from school. In order for an absence to be excused, parents must call the attendance line within 24 hours of the absence.
