- Then see the schedule further below to discover which class your child will attend for that rotation.
Example: September 28-October 3 is a RED rotation. This means that a student in Ms. DeAngelis' class will have Music with Ms. Bowes that week.

Late/Delayed Start at Little Elementary
When a late start is chosen due to weather, the notification will go out by 5:30 a.m. via school messenger from Jefferson County Schools. This is another reason you must keep your information current in the Campus Parent Portal!

There is NO BREAKFAST served on 2-hour delay days. Lunch will be at the regular time for students.

Due to no supervision, students cannot arrive earlier than 10:05 a.m.

The school day will start at 10:15.

Day Care will be on a two-hour delay, as well, and opens at 8:30 a.m.

The school day will end at the normal time.

Buses run exactly 2 hours later than normal in the morning only; School ends and buses will run at the usual time in the afternoon.

Absences will be excused if the school is notified by the family. (Missed work will be provided and accepted under the same policy as applies to regular absences.)
