Peachjar Partnership

Peachjar is a communications platform that streamlines school-to-home information. By using Peachjar, our schools and community partners save paper and reduce copy costs while reducing a significant administrative burden from principals and office staff.

Jeffco Public Schools families receive an email every other Friday with Peachjar information. Flyers remain on the website for 30 days after distribution. All e-flyers undergo an approval process. See guidelines below under "Information for Community Organizations". 

Flyers entered in to the district system will be distributed via email then posted to the site on the following 2020 dates:

  • January 3, 17, 31
  • February 14, 28
  • March 13, 27
  • April 10, 24
  • May 8, 22

Schools may also use Peachjar to send flyers to families at their school. School distributions will only include school-based events or information. Outside groups must use the district distribution. 

This system is used exclusively for distribution of school-approved flyers. Neither the district nor Peachjar will share or use email addresses for any other purpose. Families may unsubscribe from Peachjar at any time. Keep in mind, if you unsubscribe, you may miss out on important information about school events and opportunities for your child. Thank you for supporting our efforts to ensure parents are well-informed about school programs, activities, and events.

Information for Community Organizations

If you are a community organization and wish to distribute flyers to Jeffco Public Schools families, you may register for a Peachjar account as a "Program Provider" and upload your flyer for distribution to your desired schools.


Peachjar does charge a fee to for-profit program providers and for events that generate funding for nonprofit entities, but it is significantly less than the cost of printing flyers for our 86,000 students. The cost is $25 per school, per flyer, per month with options to purchase bulk rate packages. 

Free events, classes, or programs are free to promote through Peachjar.

The process to register with Peachjar is easy:

  1. Visit www.Peachjar.com and click 'Sign Up.'
  2. Enter email address and choose 'Program Provider' as your Account Type.
  3. Enter User Information and Business Information (first and last name, username, password, org name, category, org type, and location).
Once you create a Peachjar account, you upload flyers for approval by the district’s Communications Office. Please be aware of the district’s Guidelines for Online Flyer Distribution (see below). Most importantly, an organization requesting flyer distribution must do so in accordance with Board Policy KFD and other applicable policies. The district and schools reserve the right to deny any request.

Guidelines for distribution

  1. The organization requesting the use of the flyer distribution system must be the lead organization hosting, managing, and collecting any fees for the event, activity, or program being promoted.

  2. The organization will visit Peachjar to register as an "Enrichment or Community Organization."

    a. The activity or event must be an appropriate educational or enrichment activity geared to students in Preschool to 12th grade. 

    b. The organization will upload the flyer they request to be considered for distribution.

    c. The organization will select the school(s) they would like the flyer to be distributed to.

    d.  Flyers will remain active for 30 days after the distribution date.

    e.  The organization will choose “1” distribution. If another distribution is requested, the flyer must be uploaded a second time.

    f.  The Distribution Target Date must be prior to the next distribution date.

  3. When a flyer is uploaded as described above, they are automatically submitted to the district for review. The district will determine if the request conforms to district policies, including, but not limited to district policy KFD. The District typically reviews flyer posting requests within 7-14 working days, excluding holidays and breaks. Please submit your flyers well in advance for optimal promotion opportunities.

  4. Organizations will be notified via email when the flyer is approved or if there are questions or concerns.

    Please note that all flyers from community organizations must include the following disclaimer:

    "Jeffco Public Schools neither endorses nor sponsors the organization or activity represented in this material. The District accepts no liability or responsibility for the program/activity. The distribution or display of this material is provided as a community service."

  5. The district may elect to disallow flyer distributions from organizations or individuals that violate these flyer guidelines. 
    Jeffco Public Schools does not approve the distribution of materials, projects, activities, or programs that:
  • Publicize, promote, or disparage a particular church, synagogue, temple, mosque, or other house of worship, or any religious organization or religious viewpoint; or
  • Publicize, promote, or disparage a particular political party, political organization, candidate for office, ballot initiative, or political viewpoint; or
  • The district deems not suitable for children or adolescents; or
  • Promote or are associated with illegal or mind-altering drugs, alcohol, tobacco, vaping, firearms, or violence;
  • Are otherwise contrary to district policies and the public and educational mission of Jeffco Public Schools.

    In addition, flyers will not be distributed that:
    • Disrupt the educational process;
    • Violate the rights or invade the privacy of others;
    • Infringe on a trademark or copyright;
    • Contain language or images that are defamatory, obscene, vulgar, or indecent;
    • Discriminate against, attack, or denigrate any group based on gender, race, age, color, religion, ancestry, sexual orientation, national origin, disability or other unlawful consideration.

    As a courtesy to our community and to provide access to all of our students and parents, we request that flyers be submitted in both English and Spanish.
